New guy here

So, I found this board through thisainthell.us yesterday and somehow missed this forum. 

Anyway, I'm an Infantry NCO temporarily locked away in Recruiting Command.  I served with the Rakkasans during the invasion of Iraq and The Old Guard for over four years.  My gun safe is overloaded, I have a family and dog, drive a truck, and drink beer of all types, from Busch Light to Sierra Nevada Torpedo and Chimay.  I consider myself strongly conservative but outside of TAH and a few other blogs I don't stay too up to date on current politics. 

I'll be posting from time to time, and checking in a few times a week.

I would, but I drank the rest of mine last week.  Great news, though, I found a store that sells them for twenty cents cheaper per six pack than regular Sierra Nevada!

Mmmmmm...Sierra Nevada.  Another one I miss being up here is Anchor Steam.

Welcome Rakkasan!  I went to the Sinai with the 4/187 a lifetime ago myself.  Sounds like time to buy a second gun safe, 'cause it's never time to stop buying guns!

A fellow Rakkasan here but I was in the 3/187th back in the 1980's from 1981 to 1983 when I left for Italy then again in 1986 till I got shipped off to Korea
