Re: When did the Crisis become - repost everything from DU forum?

Some of what's posted here needs to be available to all - I'm thinking of the list of tombstoned GLBTers, as well as current TSed DUers.  Since the new policy there forbids gravedancing and gravemourning threads, it's pretty much the only way people will get the news (and maybe consider hanging out at a friendlier board).

The only thing that would really make me feel uncomfortable here is if people start posting personal info about DUers, a la The Conservative Cave.  That place is freakin' spooky.  First time I went there was a wakeup call to me about posting too much personal stuff on open boards - they have files on some DUers that would rival J. Edgar Hoover's collection.

I'm a newbie here but I don't think you're spooky LOL.

I'm going to keep this here for the moment, since it's borderline, and DU is the subject.  However, the "Mind Numbing Stupidity" subforum is where we generally post threads brought over from other liberal cesspools......

Oh OK, I wasn't sure where to put it, feel free to move it.

It's OK......but just so you know for future reference.  With all of the termoil at DU lately, and the various purges, the question as to where to put threads from other forums has been raised several times by other members, therefore, I thought it best to clarify.

Not a problem.....

Some rocks just beg to be lifted and have the light of day shone on what lurks underneath.  Don't blame us because you choose to keep poor company.

That's because you haven't been shown "The Black Vault" where all the files are kept. It would send you screaming into the night. Think: the final panorama scene from Raiders of the Lost Arc....

Crock, OPSEC prohibits me from telling you just how many of those vaults the VRWC maintains.  Hint--it's more than one . . . hand's worth of fingers.

Seems the purges over at DU are sending the bats running for a different board.  Will be interesting to see if conservatives are allowed to post over there or if their highest poster is "Name Removed".
You see, I don't care you how feel.  I really don't.  More importantly, neither does anyone else.  Only about 200 people on a planet of 7 billion actually care about your feelings, and that's if you're lucky.  The sooner you grasp this lesson, the better off you will be.  And since almost no one gives a damn what you do, say, think, or feel, appealing to your feelings when you encounter differences of opinion is not only illogical, but useless.

If the DUmmies wouldn't post such incredibly moronic things peppered with personal information we wouldn't know them at all.  It would just be another idiot needle in a pile of needles on an island made out of needles.  Half the time I don't even know the person's name, just the name given to them for the idiocy.  Like TiTboy, Rimjob, Skimmer, Fister, Lynnthedim, Bugboy........
All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.

I lurk over there for fun.  They are far left for the most part, but many of the posts on DU are hilarious.  I only read the Crisis. Wish they would leave all their funny DU threads open, but I understand that they have some bad feelings toward DU and some don't want to look like punks for bad mouthing. I think I can respect that.
The only reason I joined DU was to read the funny threads and to have access if they go on lockdown. I've never written trol posts there.

Hey OET members- if you want to join over here and send a private message so I can read your hidden threads, I promise not to make trouble!  I just think you guys are hilarious when talking about Der Skimmer's playground.

This made my morning.

Now wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute.

One can't blame other message boards for posting information the primitives on Skins's island themselves blab.

I can't recall a single case of using any sort of information--any sort--here, or at our old home, or on freerepublic, that the primitive hadn't revealed himself.

It's like the primitives think their stupidity doesn't draw an audience.
