President Obama today signed into law The Daniel Pearl Freedom of Press Act, which expands efforts to identify countries that don’t share our love for the First Amendment. He also took time to honor the man the bill is named after, journalist Daniel Pearl, who was kidnapped and beheaded by Islamic extremists in 2002 in what the President called a moment that ‘captured the world’s imagination.’ The Obama administration has pushed to have Pearl’s professed killer, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, tried in civilian court.

I watched it and it was the most horrific thing I have ever seen in my life.  The people who do this are not human.

I can't watch it. I couldn't live with the images I know I would see, for the rest of my life. I know that when it happened, and the other beheadings, I was so angry and shocked, I won't describe how I reacted. How anyone can know these things were done in the name of Islam, added to the "Arab street" dancing and celebrating when the WTC was hit, and not come to the conclusion that Islam itself is wholly an evil wicked satanic cult, no matter how ignorant of that truth some of its followers may profess to be, well--I don't believe it. They're playing innocent if they say that, in order to continue their infiltration of the West and using our own freedom and liberty against us.

Makes you wonder if that particular phrasing was purposely chosen, if he really has (to say the least) Muslim sympathies. It's ambiguous enough (at least for most of the sheeple) that he could play it off, and still signal his sympathies to Muslims.

By mistake heard the killing of ,oh I can't remember the poor mans name, it was playing on a radio and radio was on other side of house could not get to it fast enough to turn it off. The worst thing I have ever heard. Bothered me for some time. Saw one other and it is just ....... This bunch zer0 is protecting is un human.

I know what you mean, I felt that way at first-that I should see it to know just how evil they are. But I decided I already know that to the fullest extent without inflicting those images on myself. I do feel guilty that he suffered it and I can't even bear to see it. I don't know how his family lives with it, it would eat at me, I know, until I died. How the American government, and I must include President Bush in this, can defend in any way such evil, makes no sense. The animals did it in the name of Islam, and I've never heard one fraction of the outrage from Muslims over this barbarism, that they have over the trumped-up "potential" of retribution towards American Muslims which never comes to pass.
