"Mrs. Republican" where I live in the apartment building, just came

down to the porch to sit for a while. We had all just picked up our mail. I was going on a bit about a haircut I just got (too short) and she sat down with us with a huff. I know not to get into it with her about anything political so waited while someone else asked her what was wrong... Lo and behold...She is "sick and tired of those damned republicans supporting Wall Street and the banks. If they're counting on winning anything this mid-term election they just lost it with their obstructionism this second day in a row." She had watched Senator Bunning on the MSNBC Ratigan show and he sent her "over the edge" as she put it.

Of course, all heads turned toward me as they know I spend waaaaay too much time on DU and other lefty sites, waiting for my response, if any. I don't feel bad for her but she was, at the very least, honest. I had to come upstairs anyway so as I got up I patted her on the hand and said "admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery." She actually laughed out loud and proceeded to tell us her very republican son was shocked, shocked I tell ya, that he received a far larger return on his income tax this year. He's wavering also according to her...LOL.

One by one, very slowly, they will come..

Monmouth lives at an apartment building with a porch where everyone goes to get their mail at the same time?  Terrible.  Just terrible.  0 bongs.

They just don't make rubber like they used too.....and it's definately Obama's fault.

Doubt if the son's going to be so chipper about his taxes this time next year, even if there was a shred of truth in the story in the first place.

Looks like some DUmbass just got their weekly to do email from Obama's propaganda arm, OFA.

Your tax "refund" has absolutely NOTHING to do with who the President is or who is in charge of Congress.  If you get a refund, you had too much withheld/taken out of your  paychecks the past year.  If you owe money, you didn't have enough withheld. :banghead:

So "Mrs. Republican" watches political shows on MSNBC? That alone qualifies this half-assed tale as a bouncy lie.

Agreed....  :lame:

NO self proclaimed or otherwise "Republican" watches PMSNBC.  Their TV's won't pick up that channel....

"Son" is a moron if he thinks getting a "bigger than expected" tax refund is all thanks to "the One"....

This bouncy is as lame as a one-legged duck....

"Bigger than expected refund."  As I understand it, the tax tables themselves did not change.  At the beginning of the year, many people got $12 or so more per 2-week paycheck, but would end up giving it back at the end of the year.  If true, and I doubt the tale, the "son's" refund was due perhaps to hours worked or something.

Anyway, the bouncy scores points for the required conversion element, as well as having approving onlookers.  However, we are missing the requisite "So" beginner.   Overall entertainment factor, very poor.  I give it a D.

I've tried on occasion.  I can't get more than 10 minutes in without acute nausea or an overpowering urge to throw a brick at my television sets in.

I flipped over to Olberdork last night during the intermission of the hockey game.  He's STILL ranting about President Bush.  I'm not sure how that attracts ratings.  Oh wait, it doesn't!

So, yesterday I was at the local coffee shop when one of my neighbors came in all pissed off. I asked what was wrong (usually it's some kind of racist/sexist thing since she's a half Latino half black lesbian lumberjack). Anyway, she saw some kind of chart that showed how much more money the democrats got from Wall Street and just couldn't believe it. Well, right then and there she said she would never vote for another democrat and was renouncing her lesbianism to better fit the point of this bounc...uh, because she was tired of being a victim of the power brokers in the democrat party. We all welcomed her into the light before she went out and bought a new dress and a curling iron...see DUmmie...just as believable as yours with more creative embellishment.
