No, he didn't have someone on that disagreed with him...He used "the line".  The most ridiculous line in the history of "lines".

He said...

"This show is the number one ranked news show not on fox"

Or...

"The Islanders are the best team in the NHL accept for the ones who are better than them".

Normally, when we post to the DUmpster we are commenting on a thread at DU. However, under the subsection Mind Numbing Stupidity we post dumbasses not on DU.

I, for one, cannot stand to listen to the retard in question, mostly because of the comments like the ones you mention.

A link would be nice, however, for those with stronger constitutions.

I actually don't like hockey.  It's boring, no action, can't follow the puck and way too violent.

Ok, fine!  I'm a die-hard Islander fan and unfortunately I was born in 1983 so all I've been routing for except for 1993 are top 5 draft picks.

And you know what?  If the situation was reversed and, say, O'Reilly was behind Special Keith in the ratings and said the same thing about his show, Slobbermann would relentlessly mock it.
