People in history that should have been killed.
« on: March 30, 2010, 07:25:17 AM »
What would the world be like today if certain people had been killed before they could make their mark on history. You may want to add why you think the world would have been better off without them.

Don't list anyone that is alive today....I know, but we don't want the fed's down on us.

My list and I think the reasons are pretty obvious.

1-Muhammad
2-Karl Marx
3-Lenin
4-Stalin
5-Hitler

I'll leave a few for you.
“The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of ‘liberalism’, they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” - Norman Thomas, U.S. Socialist Party presidential candidate 1940, 1944 and 1948

"America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."  Stalin

YOU want to change history.?    Like going into a way back machine and killing your grandfather.

How would the world be today had these people never have existed?  Say aborted.

Interesting as millions of us would not be alive today, our children and family lines non- exestent.

Uncomfortable as it is, it was the existence of these 5 monsters that have led to society as it is today.

I think in most cases, the outcome might have been that someone else does basically the same thing.

Perhaps not necessarily killing them, but making sure that they never came to power or their ideas were never implemented might be a better way to deal with these plagues on humanity. I don't know if we would have learned the harsh lessons that these people provided, though. Imagine if there were never a "Holocaust" ?? Imagine if Communism had never been a realized concept??

No Holocaust, means no Israel.   No Communism, no scientists, doctors, that led to Sputnik.

No Civil war in America, the blood and suffering never was. Darn I am glad I was born to white folks in New England, I could have been born from the belly of a black slave in a slave state.

Had the Japes not declared war against us, the Germans would have developed the bomb, they were only a few months from figuring out Heavy Water.

Say the English King dropped dead in the time of our first Tea Party----who would have replaced him ?     What would our lives be like today .?

Then there is the question of Jack Ruby, had he not killed Oswald, what would we know today.?

Had someone not found gold notes in a barn in the 1930's how would history have treated Charles Limbarge.?

Had a night watchman called in ill one night, there would never been a Watergate.

Had we dug the Panama Canal in another country, would we still not have found the Mayan Civilization ?

Seward bought Alaska, had he died a week before the transaction, what country would be controlling it today.?

What would have happend if Lewis and Clark  could not get fonding for their  little excursion west.?

The law of unintended consequences owns this.

History may be full of bad things.. .but removing those bad things could lead to worse things.

In short, I would say all liberals who support abortion. They should have been forced to be on the receiving end of the very thing they so strongly support.
Liberals are proof that evolution is still a theory. Nothing that stupid could evolve past a monkey.

See I can't say that because I used to be a liberal who supported abortion.  I am glad God let me live long enough to see the idiocy of my ideas.

And I think you are right to point that oout. It is wrong for me to say all liberals. So I change my answer to "most" liberals.

Liberals I liked------Abe Lincoln, a far, way out man,   what was he thinking to put the country under the sword and spill the blood of 500,000 +

Conservatives I disliked----Cotton Mathers and his associates.

Liberals I liked---John Brown

Liberals I dislike-- DR Timothy Leary---Angela Davis,---Patty Hearst.

Liberals I liked---Florence Nightingale, Joan of Arc's, and King Christianson of Denmark.

Conservatives I liked, Goldie Meir, and Leon Uris.

Conservatives I dislike---all tele Evangelests---Tammy Baker and her ilk.  Unbelievable the money they take from the poor and ignorant to in rich themselves.

Liberal Evangelists I liked,   The Revern IKE in California in the late 1960's that told the truth---Why get your pie in the sky some day, get it now, just send me money for a new car. :lmao:

It is difficult for me to put anyone in a box and label them Conservative or Liberal. People do go back and forth on ideas and actions depending on their personal need at the time.
