So y'all were on the boards the day I got laid off due to lack of work right? Through me for a loop and a minor breakdown. In my fog of despair I was on the boards applying for jobs that very day.

Well I saw a posting for a job that matches my resume....EXACTLY for the same company that terminated me for lack of work.

Hummm I thought, what should I do?

WEll I applied for that ****er.

I just had the first phone interview. She seemed to be pleasantly shocked that I was terminated with experience like mine.

She's taking it to her management to see what she can do. Now she works in part of the company that my little rouge group reports to.

Hummmm

Que Jeopardy music. I'll keep y'all posted.

I'm thinking her layoff was a bouncy for sympathy, but now she needs her work bouncies back.

6. Aha ! So they were firing you, the cowards.

But they new she'd claim discrimination, so they laid her off.  Now , she'll claim discrimination , anyway.

Newsflash, DUmmies--they check names.  My first job after I got out of the Navy was in a shithole company down in Irvine, and I left at the end of my "probationary" period.  I was working at another job several months later when I get a phone call.  It was a recruiting agency calling for the company I had previously left.  I told them I was a former employee of theirs and that I wasn't interested, thanks all the same...

And in a bit of schadenfreude, they closed down about a year later.  Sucks for them.

Is this thing married?

Did she apply for her old job with a maiden name? or vice versa?

No kidding.  This DUmmy will be discovered quite soon, and I'm sure she will rush right to the DUmp to tell the masses all about it.

I was reading a thread yesterday featuring her.  It wasn't entertaining enough to bring over.  She was extremely obnoxious, in-your-face, and with a gigantic chip on her shoulder.  She screams racism at the drop of a hat.  Very tiresome.

Was that the one in the cooking and baking forum, where she was asking the other primitives how one "starts" a kitchen from scratch?

If they wanted her they would've tranferred her, I'm hoping for a Nelson Muntz moment here.

That's it, that's the one.  I missed the one where she wanted to start a kitchen "from scratch."  She doesn't strike me as a master-remodeler type.   More like the whatever-came-with-the-apartment type.

I was going to point out all the spelling and grammar issues with that thread, but I don't have that kind of time.

Maybe they fired her because she's illiterate.
