Anybody remember a thread about why Tea Baggers never rallied, protested, whatever

they do....Until Obama was in office?

It was in the form of lots of questions about why didn't they object when the Bush II admin. ran up huge deficits, etc.

Uh, I recall there was great dissatisfaction about George Bush and his spending billions, among decent and civilized people.

That's why George Bush's approval ratings plummeted.

(Which did not however mean that decent and civilized people were willing to trade George Bush for a Democrat, liberal, or primitive.)

It's a matter of degree here, what inspires protest.

George Bush spent only measly billions; il Duce Bo is spending trillions.

One billion seconds ago, it was sometime in 1977.

One trillion seconds ago, it was sometime circa 29,000 B.C.

One suspects the primitives think of a trillion as being oh, only a few billion more.....

I really don't know how to explain what I'm thinking, but here goes any way...

I think it also has to do with perceived intent. Yes, W did some things that I didn't agree with; however, I still perceived his intent as helping the US. I think he loves his country as founded by the forefathers and was doing what he thought, wrongly or rightly, would strengthen it.

0, on the other hand, I perceive to have a distaste of the US as founded. It seems he wants to change the country into something that it never has been. Something that will make it weaker. He doesn't want a beacon on a hill. He doesn't want it to be "morning in America" again.

edit to add: 0 is the complete opposite of this...

“Don’t vote for the person who tells you you deserve something. Just don’t do it if it’s something other than life, liberty, or the pursuit of possible happiness. If everyone is telling you you deserve something, vote for the one who is promising you the least. Be suspicious of the man or woman who tell you deserve everything. Because you don’t.” ---Mike Rowe

Yep. There was never any doubt that President Bush did what he thought was best for the country.  OTOH, Lord Zero seems bent on pressing his ideology on this country, regardless of the damage he does. He did say that the Constitution was flawed in many ways.

You got it Coach! Talk about hitting a bullseye in a bullseye.

Problem is the American people have become so acustomed to the B word, the T word just doesn't upset them at all.

Until America realizes that China not only owns our debt, but our manufacturing, we are doomed.

No, you are not.  The DUmmies just have a selective memory.

Hey, DUmmies, I remember a lot of anti-war protests while Bush was in office.  Nothing has significantly changed since Obama has taken office in regards to the wars in the Middle East, so why aren't you still protesting at the same rate?

Because black guys can jump and dance, but they can't frogmarch. The objective of a DUmmy protest is usually a frogmarch.
