I'm surprised that Lord Zero didn't bow to China's demand and cancel the visit, altogether. Still pretty low class to hustle the Dali Lama out the back door.  Better than shoving him through a window, I guess.  :evillaugh:

although I'm a Christian, I have great respect for the Dali Lama. He needs to be treated as a head of state.

It may have been the Deli Llama's idea.  He didn't want to be seen associating with the trash INSIDE the White House.

I think the cufflinks gift was a joke started by Rush ?  Surely Obama would notice the Dalai Lama had no cuffs ?

I saw some posts defending the trash piling up outside the WH was because of the recent blizzards.  LOL, but they sure get the Obamas picked up and delivered all over the country, yet they can't clear out a few trash bags?

DingleBarry just did that to make nice with the ChiComs because they are the second largest holders of our debt. (Japan became the first last week). This is another ripple effect of being financially indebted to foreign powers; it jeopardizes your sovereignty. Thanks to our gubbment's insane, outlandish spending (both Dems and Repubs) the ChiComs and the Japanese have us by the short and curlies.

But I digress. Losing our sovereignty due to our indebtedness is fodder for another thread. I would say our gubbment spends like drunken sailors on leave, but that would be an offense to drunken sailors on leave.
