Hi Folks,
Marco Rubio is going to be the keynote speaker this week for the conservative group. As BO is always talking about letters he receives, thought I would send Marco a letter to help him prepare. I met him at a tea party in Lakeland, FL and cannot tell you just how impressed I am with the young man. I feel he is the real deal.

Hi Marco,
Last night at dinner with some friends we were discussing the "tea partiers". Being that my wife and I are in that group and have attended several it made for an interesting discussion.
Save the discussion, here is the conclusion we came to.
MOST TEA PARTY FOLKS:
--Opposed the Tarp bills when Bush passed it and when Obama passed his.
--Oppose card check
--Oppose Cap and Trade
--Oppose the idea of government controlled health care
--Oppose the idea of trying any terrorist in our court system, much less giving them Miranda rights and even bringing them on our soil.
The issues are not the issue, they are symptoms. What is really fueling their anger is the fact that they feel they are doing their jobs as citizens, letting our elected officials know how they feel AND BOTH DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS ARE NOT LISTENING.
Better warn Republicans, if they want a third party movement, just start working with the president on a compromise health care bill that puts the government in charge.
Better warn Republicans they better not try to put together a compromise cap and trade.
It is the CONCEPT behind many of these laws, more government intrusion that make them distasteful and republicans trying to work with democrats are not going to help one bit.
The voters made themselves clear, the tea partiers have made their voices heard and both parties have not seen nothing yet. Republicans DAMN SURE BETTER EMBRACE THE CONSERVATIVE MOVEMENT, and stop trying to compromise and be democrat lites, or there will be a third party and we will really empower the democrats as we split our vote.
When the fundamental core value of any piece of legislation is more government control over our lives, best be proud to be the party of NO because compromising in the name of bipartisanship is gonna get the republicans fired just like it will the libs.
We are sick and tired of being pushed around by a government who is supposed to work for us. The president said he obviously did not explain health care well enough. No Mr. President, the problem is YOU are not listening. Well the damn republican party better start listening too. I have not sent them a dime, other than contributions to your campaign in the last two years and I am not alone. Seems that the other couples at the table were on the very same page.
