Update on Flight 253
I know many of you have been following the story of Flight 253 and my accounts of the so called "Sharp Dressed Man" and the "Man in Orange". My story has never changed. The official story from U.S. Customs Spokesperson Ron Smith regarding the "Man in Orange" has changed 5 times. The changes have been documented all over the internet. However, the government's position on the "Sharp Dressed Man" has been that the Dutch Police have reviewed over 200 hours of security video and that it shows nothing. Due to this position, many have chosen to believe the government over myself. Dateline NBC, which interviewed myself and my wife twice, refused to air our account or even allow us on their special about Flight 253. Further, Chris Hanson of Dateline made the following quote about my account "It is an unsubstantiated rumor dispelled as myth". Many on the internet and here on Democratic Underground immediately dismissed my account. Recently, I received an email from a fellow passenger who verified my claim regarding the "Sharp Dressed Man". Unfortunately, this woman refuses to come forward due to the manner in which the media has attacked myself and my story. However, this story by abc news yesterday, shows who has been telling the truth, and who has not.

Specifically, I am referring to this quote:

"Federal agents also tell ABC News.com they are attempting to identify a man who passengers said helped Abdulmutallab change planes for Detroit when he landed in Amsterdam from Lagos, Nigeria.

Authorities had initially discounted the passenger accounts, but the agents say there is a growing belief the man have played a role to make sure Abdulmutallab "did not get cold feet." '

Unfortunately, Abc news chose to bury this story at the bottom of a seemingly unrelated article. Further, abc news refuses to identify me by name, as I was the ONLY passenger to speak out in the media about the "Sharp Dressed Man". Further, the FBI still refuses to have me help them identify the "Sharp Dressed Man" or show anyone the video. Nonetheless, I will take a great deal of satisfaction from this article.

For those who may not be familiar with the story of myself, my wife and flight 253, you can read about it in our blog at:

Umm....OK...

3. Well, on behalf of everyone I'd like to apologize, then, for doubting you.
Since you now claim to have received an email from another passenger who wishes to remain anonymous, that's sure good enough for me. And a blog!!

Well, I'm convinced. Anyone else?
Is that...sarcasm?

5. Keep bashing.............
Despite people like you, I will continue to try to make the American people wake up to the truth.

Apparently, you have a hard time reading as your comment misses the entire point of my post.

16. I'm quite sure the FBI and CIA know exactly who the "well dressed man"
Edited on Sun Jan-24-10 03:34 PM by monmouth
is. Most likely one of theirs. They didn't think he'd be noticed and had to "story up" quickly. I'm sure this will all come out. What about the person at the ticket counter that let this guy on without passport, etc.?

were is the tinfoil smilie?   :tinfoil: there it is!

That would blow the lone nut case to bits.
