Not too cheap for Jeep Cherokees, either....
I installed one years ago on my wife's 1995 Chevy S-10 Blazer for around 40 bucks....
To put one on our 2002 Jeep will run over $120 just for the hardware....
But it was nice (with the Blazer) to stand at the kitchen window, no matter how hot or cold it was outside, and start it....
I drive a stick and have to leave my car in 1st gear to keep it from rolling downhill after I get home (parking brake doesn't work worth a damn), so no remote start for me. My heater doesn't work anyway so its kinda pointless to worry about it now.
