If you've never had the opportunity
« on: December 12, 2009, 03:14:30 PM »
to witness the reunion of a young soldier, his proud young bride and infant son, and extended family...

you simply can't relate to the experience. It's not like watching it on TV. It's friggen emotional as hell, even as a stranger running on little sleep and little more ambition than to make it home. It was a touching experience. And it more than made my day.

Thank you to all who serve. :usa:

I have been both the wife of a soldier coming home as well as the kid watching their dad come home both of them are special in their own way.
Good girls are bad girls that never get caught.

Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it, misdiagnosing it and then misapplying the wrong remedies.

I have been that dad, and more recently the extended family.
