It is interesting how careful Woods is in his remarks about 0bama's election.  He is celebrating our capacity to 'get past that.'  Not the man himself.

I still wonder at this.  I think a major part of the interest in this is the shadenfruede because Woods is successful, and those who are making most of the fun, aren't.

It's pretty much the same for any prominent African-American athlete.  They know how much money they will lose to more taxes with a Democrat in charge, so they stay above the fray and don't directly endorse or criticize politicians.  That's how Michael Jordan did it for years.  There were so many minor stories/rumors about MJ floating around Chicago regarding his multiple mistresses, but at least he didn't ever get caught to the degree that Tiger did.
