I have a temporary crown over a cracked tooth, question
Should I be having as much pain as I have been experiencing since getting this temp. crown?
My permanent crown should be here soon and doc says I don't need a root canal in this tooth (had one long ago)..will the permanent crown alleviate the pain? This tooth is the ONLY tooth that holds my partial (whichI have not been able to wear since before Thanksgiving)
Thanks to anyone who can tell me about this problem.
Apparently not a common problem among the primitives--that is, unless the primitives are too busy hanging out in "General Discussion," so they can be seen with the hip, cool, trendy, with-it, primitives.
However, at least the unfrocked warped primitive shows up:

1. If you've had a root canal done in that tooth
the nerve should be gone and there should be no pain.
If you are having pain, especially in the jaw and when you bite down, either the root canal wasn't complete or you have an infection at the root.
Call the dentist. Severe pain with a temporary crown is unusual.
One thing they never tell you about root canal teeth: they can still rot.
Nothing is as bad as a mouthful of bad teeth. Been there.
No, the mountain man primitive hasn't been here.
