While it's pretty clear to anybody who is even halfway paying attention that Obama's failed odysseys and his low-bowing to his superiors in Japan result in only more humiliation for the US, let's not lose sight of the fact that a great many of us are concentrating on making ends meet, taking the kids to soccer practice, and working on that honey-do list.
When the lame stream media crows about and otherwise trumpets the virtues and the perceived failings of Palin, most of America tends to forget about how the Senate recently embarrassed itself by actually voting to hear the POS health care bill on the floor.
Again, that doesn't speak about those who are paying attention - but most of us, sadly enough, don't.
As long as we have our iPods and we have enough gas in the tank to get to Grandma's for Thanksgiving, whether or not the Senate is embarrassing itself isn't so important. We'll look at Charlie Gibson spoonfeed us our pablum and utter "tsk tsk" as the Palin-bashing continues and she continues to do well on her book tour.
No, Sparky, I think there's an element of truth in what Kyle is saying.
America is easily distracted. And while we're worried about Sarah Palin and her book tour, Chuckie Schumer is uttering vile little epithets like "Failure is NOT an option!" on the health care abortion that the Senate's bill is, and Weirdo Reid schedules votes on a Saturday for maximum hassle factor for the Repubs.
