You Tell Me What This Bumper Sticker Meant

Out riding my bike today, at a traffic light the car in front of sported this bumper sticker:

My Son Served In Iraq
So that
Your Son Could Party In College

I should mention that the I saw this in Morgantown, WV, which is the home of West Virginia University, which is the largest employer in the county, and also that approximately half of the population (25,000 out of 50,000) of the town attend one of the Colleges of that University.

What on earth was going on in this person's mind?

1. You mean if we didn't invade Iraq, Muslims would go to our college town and steal the beer?

2. hes pissed off because everyone around him forgets their is a war going on
while he is directly affected by it everyone else who does not have a family member is not, they only remember that we have a war when they hear about it on TV. I'm pissed about it too.

15. Agreed
That's how I see that sticker.

It seems there are many out there who only focus on the war when it garners them media attention, rating points or political points

It's an interesting bonfire burning there, the primitives themselves disagreeing about the meaning.

DUmmy proves that he is a DUmmy.

Gifted, talented, and nuanced my ass.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

It just means that the word "sacrifice" is nothing more than a punchline to the primitives.

That's really nice of proud2Blib to warn the moonbats not to harrass normal people.  Someone's mole?

Wish he would convince the Code Pinkos.

I can see November 2 from my house!!!

Forget change, bring back common sense.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
