Steven Tyler quits Aerosmith?

After entertaining music lovers for more than four decades, Rock group Aerosmith might be on the verge of a break up after the band's guitarist Joe Perry saying that frontman Steven Tyler has quit.

Perry said that Tyler has not been in touch with the group after their performance was in Abu Dhabi, Las Vegas Sun reported.

"Steven quit as far as I can tell. I don't know anymore than you do about it. I got off the plane two nights ago. I saw online that Steven said that he was going to leave the band," Perry said.

I heard something about this a few days ago...

Doesn't really suprise me.  After his injury not to long ago, the age thing must be catching up with him.

Someone needs to post that recent photo of him with a fan, where he looks like a 75-year-old lady. Grotesque and spooky.

I heard this this morning on Fox & Friends.  Alysin Camarota was saying that Steve Tyler is Aerosmith, so the band was pretty much over.

Sorry for changing the subject a bit, but has anyone read Joey Kramer's book?  Thinking about buying it but haven't heard any reviews.

No idea if it's true or not, but there's been more than a few rumblings as of late that he's back to being a one man Toxic Twin.

Damn that is a shame. Then again time takes its toll and hes not going to live forever. We as fans will always have the music. I was hoping to catch them someday in concert.

First time I saw them was in St. Louis in 1973, they opened for Mott the Hoople, at the American Theater.  Nobody remembers MTH was even there.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
