Free* to Good Home
« on: September 22, 2009, 04:57:37 PM »
I have some RAM for an older PC. There are two sticks, 1- IBM 512 MB PC133 (64 x 64) and 1- Spectek 256 MB PC133 (32 x 64). All I ask is that if anyone wants these that they pay actual shipping. (Appears to be a $15 value for the both of them on eBay) The motherboard fried (I think the IDE controller. It wouldn't boot past the processor check and RAM count). They did pass the motherboard RAM Check, as best I could tell. Drop me a PM if you have an older PC and could use these.

Ya know, THERE ARE people out there with legacy computers that MIGHT need these. I really don't care for your smartassed remarks. FFS, at max, it would cost someone $4 for postage.

NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

I got an old computer that was being thrown out at work, and that ram is too much for it.  It has a very small HDD, and runs Win98.

Why?
“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”

-- Marcus Tullius Cicero, 55 BC (106-43 BC)

The unobtainable is unknown at Zombo.com

Why?

I had brought it home when we got our first computer to have one to mess around with. At that time I could use it to surf the web, albeit very slowly.

Old computers can make very good routers/ firewalls, depending on one's needs.
