frosty Wednesday
« on: October 07, 2009, 06:15:26 AM »
The frost, and a quite heavy one, is on the pumpkin, the corn, the William Rivers Pitt, this morning.  I guess it's "supposed" to be like this the rest of the week, but not unbearably cold.  Just around freezing, and then in the 40s and 50s during the day,.

Ewwwwww that's one of the signs of that "winter" stuff I keep hearing about isn't it? We don't get that stuff till mid December or later :-)

Our current temp is 75 @ 7:30 am with the high in the lower 90's today.

42 and damp after some thunderstorms yesterday. No below freezing temps until next week, but that is too soon.

Crystal clear skies and 53 degrees this morning.     We get to dry out before more rain gets here Thursday night.  I'm hoping for a dry weekend so I can finish the barn roof.  Business has picked up considerably at work, and since the layoffs last spring, I "get" to do the work of 4 people now....but that sure beats job hunting.

Mid-40's and rain this morning, and of course the line to get into the plant was 20 minutes long, so of course I'm drenched even with my rainjacket.

I hate mall cops, and I REALLY hate the ones here because they have big guns.

We have clear skies now, but it was 68 at 7 this morning and the rain was moving out...the cold front is still between us. Supposed to be clear here until tomorrow night too. We aren't even completely drying out anymore.   :whatever:

Was supposed to be in a mandatory company seminar this morning....but doublechecked where it was to be this morning before I left....good thing...I was going to the wrong place..  :banghead:  Got Water's Edge confused with Falling Waters ...both are off the same highway....but where I was supposed to be was 25 minutes away instead of 10.  :censored: Lucky me...I get to go to the one tomorrow. I hate these things. They are usually about what the company is going to do for us.....and it's usually going to cost us money.

Just hand over the chocolate...back away slowly...far away....and you won't get hurt....

Some thunderstorms maybe.  High of 70 today, High of 87 tomorrow with BIG thunderstorms.  (not a good hair day)  Looks like we might be leveling out though.  Next week, the highs are consistent at 65-70.  So far.

Where are you ?? Austin !?!?!?! It's struggled to get to 58 today here in  North Central Texas. My weather thingy says that it's 57° right now. :(  Ohhh, and it's been cloudy ALL day, so far.

I am also in North Central Texas.  Originally they said it was gonna get to 70 this am.  (Well, Evan on Fox4Texas did)  But it is only 62 right now.  They are still saying 85 for tomorrow, with BIG thunderstorms.

60's and sunny as heck here today.  I managed to cut the back yard this afternoon.
