black box voting - bev harris
Is there a link to a succinct summation of the problems that happened with this org? I have a friend working with them and I want them to be fully informed.
franksolich is happy to provide a summation.
A prominent vote fraud activist hired the malicious cartoon character, the "Kelvin Mace" primitive, to print her book.
The malicious cartoon character tried to cheat her, but she wouldn't let him.
And so the malicious cartoon character Hates the prominent vote fraud activist.
When the prominent vote fraud activist showed up on Skins's island, and was just $10 short of winning Ohio for the Bostonian Billionaire in November 2004, because of his grudge against her, the malicious cartoon character primitive got her banned.
Ten measly bucks short, and it all went down the tubes.
If the primitives want to blame anybody for the Bostonian Billionaire being denied the White House, they have to look no further than among themselves, for the malicious cartoon character primitive, for whom a personal grudge was more important than a president Kerrey.

6. I never said a bad word about her. I wrote a lot of proof of concept code for bbv.
Once I demonstrated how easily the machines could be hacked(as did hundreds of other people), I ignored the whole issue.
I just say it will end in tears because a lot of other people here hate her guts. As to whether or not any of them ever lifted a finger to help the effort, I couldn't possibly comment...
Uh-huh.

4. yeah, that why I used the word "succinct."
when I saw the org listed as a partner in something they are working on, it was a big red flappy flag.

9. Well, I can give a bit of a summary
Let's see.
She started with good intentions, I believe, and truly believed in the BBV issue. Then she started to get weird and mean. Ticked off Keith Olbermann. Ticked off Randi Rhodes. Started to damage the movement. Came on DU and threatened to sue DU - can't remember the exact reason. Got kicked off of DU. Had sock puppets come and plead her case. Never accounted for the money that Randi Rhodes's show raised for her.
To me, the best glimpse into how she is: She did not pay Andy Stephenson's medical insurance like she was supposed to. She fired him without telling him directly that he was fired. When he got the cancer, she was nasty to him and implied that he was lying. He had no job and no insurance. He died.
Bev is toxic. She is vindictive and petty.
Encourage your friend to find another group that works for VVPBs and election reform. Those groups exist out there.
And for the BevBots: I worked in the trenches for election reform so don't even respond and say that I can't criticize Bev.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's what happened. Right.

10. That's pretty succinct, and I add Bev would come to DU sometimes daily, asking for all kinds of research/legwork from Duers about various elections laws/equipment in every state.
If you look back in the archives, you can find threads "I need info on Kansas..." "I need info on Calinforna..."
She did this for MONTHs.
Then turned around and got mean with all those who did all that research FOR FREE for her because they believed in the cause. She would accuse people of stealing "her" research, trying to muscle in on "her" project.
I'm serious. She was that paranoid
She also threatened to sue a fellow Tarheel, who offered to publish her book, even though it wasn't within the scope of his publishing house. She treated him the same way she treated Andy.
The woman is mentally ill.
The "fellow Tarhell" of course was the malicious cartoon character, who prints comics books, and who tried to cheat her.

11. thanks for this too
franksolich told it all, in his summation near the top. That's all it was, nothing more.
