Your QB (Crompton) graduated from Waynesville, NC which is about 20 miles West of where I live.  I have no idea why UT recruited him, he wasn't that good in HS.  The media kept talking him up like he was something special, and he got some reward for playing OK, but his team barely made the State playoffs and then got bounced right off the bat.  I think he only got in because Heath Shuler (former UT QB) convinced UT to take him.

That's exactly why he got in.

He is not of SEC quarterback caliber....he needed to be at Carson Newman or Western Carolina at the very best.
