It was a proposal to give the cars to charities instead of detroying them....the vote was interesting.

And we repukes are the one who don't care about the poor?

Yeah, I wondered about that when the details came out. There are several charities that take "clunkers" for the poor. This little exercise is backfiring on the administration. I'm kinda liking it. Well, except for the part where my higher taxes have paid for people to destroy perfectly decent cars so they can buy a brand new one.......
I can see November 2 from my house!!!
