I'm amazed that the Iraq war seems to be accepted and mostly forgotten by so many. Why isn't there major outrage at this unbelievable travesty? It's really, really depressing.

Allright, let me explain the difference for these buffoons. Think what you want about this war in particular or war in general, it was authorized by a person who met all the requirements to be the POTUS and was supported by Congress, as outlined by the Constitution, to start this action.

The person currently in office will not even verify his most BASIC eligibility requirement to sit in the office he currently sits in making ALL of his actions potentially illegitimate(not that anyone would overturn them, but it does potentially draw into question, if someone were to get nitpicky--oh like another country--the legitimacy of anything he does).

So, Bush, meets all basic requirements to be in office and so far Obama refuses to document that he does. Big difference to distinguish before one even considers the policies either is implementing with the assistance of Congress.

Actually, any liberal who believes at all in this country and its rule of law should be outraged too if Obama really is not eligible. It invites chaos, coups, and all kinds of other corruption into an otherwise civilized rule of law. Is anarchy really what some of these hand-wringing dumbasses want, bcause quite frankly, I don't think many of them are capable of taking care of themselves in that type of situation.

The war is over. We declared victory and turned over major combat operations in iraq to the Iraqis. All we are doing now is waiting to come home.

This disappoints me greatly. If I remember correctly, several years ago the DUmp was claiming that 1,000,000 had been killed. I would figure the number would be up above 5,000,000 by now.

Oh Allosarus, here you bash our elected officials for being stupid then you turn around and say the samething about me that has not the office, eduction or political savvy.

Placing me in the same box of our leaders kind of makes me feel a lot better then I am.

There is no way that as a normal person could be elected to Any office be it dog catcher or on the zoning board and not become down the line  become a bit corrupt.

I know myself and I feel I am an honest person only because I have never been Tempeted to do anything I know is wrong.

Like Sparky in a former post told how he got off a traffic ticket due to family influence, I never had that problem but, if in his situation most of us would go for it.

The real money gets to people All, few of us have the power to demand money to use our influence, Those we elect do, be it a few thousand bucks to their war chest to mega bucks.

Just how honest is anyone,  how far can a person be pushed to close one eye and take money and place it in their bra.?

Easy for people who are honest to remain so, until the time temptation arrives.  staying honest may cause  you to get shot or worse.

Dishonest politicians go to jail, the honest ones are taken out one way or the other.

As far as politicians going to jail, ONLY IF THEY ARE REPUB!!!!!!! There are countless Dems who should be lodged at the horizontal bar motel, who have yet to be even be arrested and taken to court. Yes...but the stories coming out of it have changed pretty dramatically.  Do you recall the last huge headline with count of troops killed over there?  It's been a while, huh?  Now the media is all about how well it's going, like something actually changed over there...instead of just in their heads.   (or whatever they use to dream up their stories.)

Coach, the only way we can accomplish that is to actually operat like the Romans. You have to flex your muscles and stand behind what you have started.
