Who uses linkedin and what is your opinion on its usefulness?
I've heard excellent things.
LinkedIn is an interconnected network of experienced professionals from around the world, representing 170 industries and 200 countries. You can find, be introduced to, and collaborate with qualified professionals that you need to work with to accomplish your goals.

This is burning in the career help forum, one of the least-popular forums on Skins's island, a forum the primitive avoid like the plague.

1. I just joined yesterday
found some old co-workers and vendors from my previous job, but too soon to say. It's fun to roam around the site, though.

3. I'm there....but haven't connected with anyone but the person who invited me in...and then I invited someone else. I'm very busy running two businesses and don't have time for online networking --- or physical networking for that matter....I know that's how you make your business grow, but it's hard to juggle everything.
But yet one has enough time to hang around Skins's island.....

4. I have gotten a few job leads that way in the past, but not one that panned out. I have done 2 business deals that way, making money for someone else and acquiring services for my company. I have also found it easier to keep up with references that way, as people tend to change phone numbers and emails, but if they find LinkedIn valuable, they would be likely to update their profiles. So I would say it is worthwhile so far.
