IE8 question
« on: July 25, 2009, 10:32:47 AM »
Address bar dropdown isn't working for me, so if I want to go someplace other than the homepage, I have to either pull it out of history or type it out.  How do I activate the address bar dropdown?

IE8 sucks.

I tried it for a week or so, then rolled back to IE7.

Just a quick lookup says that most people with the problem need to enable Autocomplete for the Address bar in options. Seems like a silly thing to have to do for a recent dropdown list, but it is Microsoft. It should be in Internet Options -> Content -> AutoComplete -> Settings
