Monday. woot.
« on: June 08, 2009, 10:02:28 AM »
Cool and cloudy here today.

Had a great weekend with my wife in Prairie Du Chen over on the Mississippi river.  We did about 4 miles of broken terrain hiking Saturday and then just sort of drifted through the touristy things and vegged.

I am practicing avoision right but I have to get moving in a bit and get on with my day.  Health Club, pet store, few groceries and some housy type stuff.

Our one nice day of the week.  Rain predicted until Saturday.  I'm not working OT tonight.  Fighting a cold, and Mr. Dayquil/Nyquil and I are getting reacquainted.

Nice weather today, but a bit on the warm side.  Two ball games tonight, at different locations, plus rehearsal for recital, so we are all going in different directions.  Mr Flame took a vacation day today, and we've just spent it chilling out.

It was supposed to rain today (all week in fact) and so far it hasn't. Keeping fingers crossed! I'm tired of rain.

It's Monday all day darn it. :-)

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle

Oy, its one of those nights, apparently. :thatsright:

This is what a Facebook friend (a guy) wrote about the various FB application games and the troubles they've been having lately:

The games tend to go down more than I do.

I have two days off in a row this week...  Of course, I'll be spending my day outside ****ing around with le heap du merde.  Smelly piece of junk.  Did I mention I have a sunburn on the back of my legs.

What a mess.

I guess you don't live a charmed life like I do.  Get away from me.  You're bad luck.

We are having unseasonally cool weather this week, May was one of the hottest months of May on record, and this might be the coolest June....

This morning customers were complaining that is was cold out....I still don't call 68 degrees at 9 AM cold....and by mid afternoon it was almost 90.

Work sucked, but only have four days left to the weekend!

After work was great, went to the post office, the bank & out to dinner, I had a great time.

In fact, I had a loose dollar bill I wanted to get rid of.  I stuck it in a Money Bags slot and hit $30.00 as we were walking out the door - on one spin.

I love it when that happens.

I'm still living it up on the $180 I won Friday after work, spent $60 of it at Home Depot, life is good.

Sounds like you had a nice trip, glad you were able to go.

Now that I live closer to my mom she is able to take off and go alot more places, as I am able to take care of the pain in the ass cat.  :-) Before she would always have to take the car and take the cat with...it was alot more work...espeically when you had to drive 2000 miles.
