A question about this flu

Why have I been seeing the woman from Homeland Security giving speeches about this flu and not someone from CDC or HHS?

Because the Obama picks are attention whores?  And because the CDC knows thousands die of people die from influenza annually...so no use in spreading fear because 1 american died?

Especially when the 1 American death turned out to be a little boy visiting from Mexico.  (Not that the death of any little child isn't a tragedy, but it has been mislabeled.)

HE has not appointed a political appointee to head either department. Can't have bureaucrats in front of the TV cameras. People meet realize we don't need politicians.
