Nice recreation of a pre-1943 Soviet Soldier. Two errors. 1) wrong belt, 2) Guards Badge's are a later creation...BUT- not unseen on M35 tunics.

But even more important: is it a wartime Guards Badge without fringe on the flag or a postwar with? That is the question...

hard to tell with the low res, but I am betting it's correct wartime issue. Third wrong thing- he's wearing a navy shirt under the tunic...

Good collection of a variety of parties over at moonbattery.com, if you'd like to see.
Does anyone have a wildass guess as to total turnout?  I'm thinking 700K, but I'm pulling that out of thin air.

I've seen estimates of 1 million.  Over 500 parties, you'd only have to average 2,000 per party to get a million.  Some only had a few hundred, some had 10-15,000+.  An average of 2,000 is certainly within reason.

the number batted around is 250,000-ish. Like most things, we'll never really know.

I've seen the numbers of 3,000 to 4,000 batted around for the Albany NY Tea Party.  I emailed Michelle Malkin the four pics I took there, before my digital camera took the afternoon off with "issues." :banghead: :censored:

Two moonbats from my office ran into me there.  They said that they weren't surprised to see me there, and I sure as all getout wasn't surprised to see "spies" there, either.

What surprised me was that Bellingham, WA got more than 1,500 people. This place is so dark blue, it's damn near the color of coal.

On the other hand, the average anti Naz... I mean anti-Bush protest was a few hundred. Strange.

Loved the place... hated the idiots, which were legion.

Didn't even notice the shirt. I prefer the M43 tunic. Can wear a "Party Naked" Tshirt underneath and no one would notice. Not that I ever did.

I think the libs are running scared with this. In spite of their rhetoric, they KNOW this is a spontaneous movement.
They never once believed that people who traditionally worked their jobs, would get out and send a message like this. That's why the long knives are out. They want to scare people away from dissent.

Too late boys. The cat is outa the bag. You're not putting it back.
