BOSTON (AP) - Massachusetts health officials are debating a proposed regulation that would require sending children's Body Mass Index measurements home to parents.

The Public Health Council is expected to vote on the provision at its Wednesday meeting.

Student heights and weights are already measured annually, but under the new regulation, that data would have to be calculated into a Body Mass Index measuring their overall proportions. The results would be sent to parents in a package explaining what they mean and how parents can combat obesity.

You're correct, sir. 

We could send out a press released, pull straight from our asses (like like liberals do) from the nonexistent "Institute For Obesity Studies" claiming kids who learn to shoot a firearm, and who regularly partake in target shooting, have a much lower ratio of body fat.  The Institute recommends all children be taught to shoot to save their health and maybe their lives.

I'll bet that would put the brakes on the obesity police.
