My mother had a frustrating day. I sent her to the Casino with my player's card, as every Monday they give me $30 in free play. She is on her way back home with $80 and in a much better mood!!

She was all dressed up and I am glad she was able to enjoy herself for a while.

I'm heading out to the girlfriend's house to watch a movie, after she is done with her Republican Women's Meeting, she is the Chairperson.

I'm tired... work was terrible.  I was snapped at by a co-worker for ratting them out to management for listening to their mp3 player while on the job.  Last I checked, there was a lovely little notice attached to the time clock specifically banning all electronic devices while on the job.  If you can't abide by management's rules, that's your problem, not mine.  And if it gets in the way of getting work done on schedule, of course I'm going to rat you out.  :hammer:

I did get good news today.  I'm FINALLY getting my 50 dollar rebate card from AT & T... it's been mailed out according to their website, so I can't wait!  :hyper:

Also, I discovered the existence of Cherry Dr. Pepper.  That is some GOOOOOD stuff right there!  :cheersmate:

We were in the 60's over the weekend, but in the high 30's today.  Springfield , IL which is 30 some miles west of here got hit hard , yesterday by either a tornado or very strong straight line winds.

Sounds like our weather in St Louis. Where do you live? I graduated from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois.

Actually we were in the 70's this weekend, but it was in the 30's this morning. We didn't get rain in our suburb, but had extremely strong winds. SR and I went to Lowe's and had a bag with just one light bulb in it. SR was putting it in the back of our station wagon and the wind blew the package out of the car and into the parking lot, about 10 feet away. SR was able to get it, put the light bulb package back in the car and then the bag flew away.

Hope you didn't have any damage.

The news said for us to expect up to 45 MPH winds, but they missed us. Other then a few seconds this morning it was not windy at all...

The wind stirs up the dust/sand in the desert...hard on the allergies but good for business.
