Maybe she didn`t get enough attention from the thread the other day about the student that she said was beaten because she called to tell the parents that she gave them a D.

Grrrrr right back at you.  My mom dated my dad when he was a ROTC guy, and she was so proud of him. 
Strategies such as Sydnie's practically guarantee her kids falling into the arms of a strong, brave soldier (of either gender).
