Interestingly, I've been looking into natural gas for investment. Bought Ferrel Gas, El Paso Pipeline Partners , Energy Transfer Partners, all n. g. pipeline and other oil energy companies. All with VERY high dividends. Found out there is almost continuous N. G. underground from the Mohawk River in NYS south to N. Carolina and Kentucky. The only issue is the ability to slant drill and pipe to mnarket. IT'S EVERYWHERE, Williston Basin, all oveer the North Slope Alaska, under most of Texas, Oklahoma, as methane hydrites anywhere the oceans were or are cold. Why, I even found a home in N. Carolibna for sale with an on the acreage gas well that supplied all the structures on the property. Gaslights, anyone?

Anyway, as the interest earned in savings is zippo, 8% to 13% from a pipeline company with a depressed swtock price seemed right to me, so I went ahead. Thinking of buying more in other companies, I have about 100 names, and am looking into them right now. Spread the risk!

But the point is, nat gas energy is competitive, will become more and more in demand, is everywhere there's sedementary rock, and the pipeline companies get paid no matter what. So, get used to nat gas energy, hell, you can even convert your car to be "multi fuel", gasoline or compressed natural gas right now, today, for about $1200 . As this catches on, more and more will replace little Hugo's high sulpher Citgo fuel.

PLUS, bad news for the Iatolas of Anthropogenic Climate Chsnge.

Frankly, I trust these guys more than our NOAA buffoons who exagerate, if not lie, for more funding.

Mia, gas ovens are notoriously bad. I had one and the thing never baked correctly.
Since going to a higher-end electric (about $600) things like pizza bake perfectly. No having to rotate the pizza half way through the cooking cycle.

I've never looked at the BTU value of an electric range, but the large burner on mine is 14,500, the smaller ones are 7500 (? I think) mid ones are 9000.
The quality of the cook top ($$$) makes all the difference. I've cooked on the "cheap" ones, usually recognizable by the wire style "grates" on them and  stamped steel burners instead of bronze. They suck. Look for cast iron grates.
