Oh, I wouldn't be. I found a couple of little White Sox jerseys for my 6 month old at the neighborhood consignment store here called "Wee Wares". I was actually planning on going there today and buying the whole store out, but still may go there this weekend and spend quite an amount. Need a new car seat and other items anyway. Braydon's already wearing 12 month clothes, and not swimming in them either!
Just a word of caution with buying Car Seats from consignemnt stores. There is no way of knowing if those seats have been in an accident, and if they were, they would need to be replaced. Also, in case you were not aware, there are "expiration dates" for car seats, after a couple of years. The plastic, and screw connections, etc, become weaker, and they might not act effectively in an accident. Car seats is one area I spared no expense, and always bought new, after doing tons of research on which are the safest/best.
Clothes, strollers, whatever, I would buy at consignment stores, but not car seats. Just my opinon, of course, but wanted the info out there, just in case some might not know about it.
