The new year doesn't turn for another 1 hour and 50 minutes, in the only time zone that matters (Mountain Time, the home of Galt's Gultch) :II:

Maybe Obama's "the One" to bring about Galt's Gultch for the rest of us. Time will tell. It may not be probable but damn if I'll live in a world where it's not possible. (meantime thoughts and prayers for you and yours sir)

Am I the only person who thought that at any second someone was going to shoot Dick Clark through the head before he bit someone and created another zombie?

Happy New Year everyone (6 AM Pacific Time)!!!

Went to sleep ar 10:00 but the noise wokr mr up at midnight so Mrs. FD and I watched the fireworks over Mission Bay.  Then back to sleep.

Not bad.

Dozed off on the couch from about 10 until just before midnight, watched the ball drop, went to bed, and listened to the wind for a bit.

Ah, good times--and again, no fireworks or gunfire.  I do loves me my peace and quiet.
