Glad someone besides me thinks Cincinnati has a shot. (and thinks tOSU v Texas will be close)

I'm so looking forward to playing the "Smurf Turf" team away from home.  We're even 2 1/2 point favorites. :hyper:

Laughing my a$$ off that Vanderbilt will travel to the Music City Bowl.  That's about 2 miles.   :lmao:

So.....I don't imagine anybody here's too excited about the Gator Bowl, although they should be.

The Gator Bowl's like the 5th-oldest bowl in football history, going back to the mid-1930s.

The Gator Bowl's got a lot of history and tradition behind it, unlike bowls such as the Siesta Bowl.

Can't say I'm overly excited as this Buckeye will be eye's glued to the Fiesta Bowl.  :uhsure:

But I do like the Gator Bowl as a true blue college bowl and I like that it's a New Years Day game. Watch out for those Tigers. Play tough, but mostly smart and don't throw the ball away. That should put your guys over the top and able to claim a pretty good season of football. (I'll be happy if my game ends and I'm not embarrassed to be a fan of tOSU)

I am really excited to go see my Horned Frogs play in the Poinsettia Bowl in San Diego!!  I went a couple of years ago when they played out there and it's so much fun.  San Diego is a beautiful city.  I know it's not one of the "major" bowls, but I'm happy for my Frogs :)

Watch out for that Boise State bunch, they should be showing up with a head of steam and a chip on their shoulder. (after getting the BCS squeeze) Anyway, I'll be rooting for TCU. If Utah pulls a miracle game and Boise wins, well... I don't even want to think about that. LOL

I think the VT vs. Cincinnati game will be interesting and should be pretty good.  As for Ohio St vs. Texas, I'm afraid you've caught Texas ready to spit nails for not being in the Big 12 Champ game (and by extention to the BCS Champ game) and OSU is the team they'll take out all their frustration upon.

BTW, in a day or so I was going to post all the games and have people predict their winners.  If you or someone else beats me to the punch, so be it, but it'd still be fun.

I can't make it.  Too close to Christmas, and it's on a Tuesday night.  I've been to a couple of bowl games and a few road games over the years, which is nice because we went to ZERO bowls when I was there.

If my boyfriend's family can pull it off, we're going to the Capitol One Bowl.  :-)  And don't ask me to tell you which team I'm supporting...  :uhsure:

If Texas v Ohio State was just about motivation and frustration I'd pick the Buckeye's in a walk. Unfortunatly (for me) Texas just has a flat out better team. tOSU has to many true freshman starting and can't equal the Longhorns talent level in most spots. However, one thing in Ohio State's favor is the game is in Arizona so I expect the crowd to be at least 65% screaming Buckeye's.

(good note on the prediction fun, and I caught the new thread too)
