I want it all.. and I want it now!

The Republican mantra. Seems to have taken hold here. As I watch Obama, I see a man who isn't looking at "instant gratification", I see a man looking at the big picture. A man planning ahead. If he feels that the tax cuts need to stay in place then they probably do. Seems a shame that people want to sit around slamming a guy for playing checkers when he's actually playing chess and he's 7 moves ahead of them.

In case anyone's forgotten, it was the wallpaper primitive who bragged on Skins's island about putting subliminal messages in films, and who was utterly surprised that he got fired.

3. Yeah I get it, You want it all and you want it now.

Good luck with that, it's worked so well for the Republicans for the last 8 years.

8. Right and the rest of the country is sinking fast because of it.

It worked perfectly for them. If you are willing to **** over an entire country for your personal gain then you aren't worth my ****ing time.

4. He can't do anything different than Bush while the tax cuts are in place is the problem

It's about wanting us not to be just stuck in the first two years of JFK, back when nothing progressive had been done yet and the Civil Rights movement hadn't devoloped the strength to make JFK govern as a Democrat.

It's about trust.

7. Are you saying that before he does anything he has to repeal the tax cuts on the wealthy? Somehow I doubt the future of the country rests entirely on those tax cuts happening on Jan 20th.

You say it's about trust, well I trust Obama. For now.

Hmmm.  That sounds, uh, portentious.

9. To have the resources to do much of anything, those tax cuts for the rich would need to go

If they stayed, how much else do YOU think would still be possible?

The Obamaite cali primitive makes excuses for the Big Zero:

10. sure he can.

and he never committed to more than letting the tax cuts on the wealthy sunset in 2010.

Doug's ex-wife butts in to use a word 99.987% of the primitives can't possibly understand:

6. You know, I have a very special place in my heart for long distance runners and Obama is the first one we've had in office in a long, long time.

So, if I cavil about his choices a little and cluck around and even flat out find fault at times, that's where I start from, anyway.

The other thing is, he was an academic. He's used to sitting in a room where people find "fault" all the time as a way to testing their own thinking and each other's position. It's not personal.

I get the feeling that if Obama said "Drop your pants, bend over and grab your ankles" DUmmie_Walldude would be only too happy to oblige.

Actually, if the Big Zero hoisted his dirty underwear up a flagpole, the wallpaper primitive and the Obamaite cali primitive would salute it.

I think that one could apply that to any one of the primitives over at the DUmp.

Funny.  I see a child in way over his head who falsely believes that Marxist ideology can not only rescue the economy but that increasing gov't control in our daily lives will prevent it from ever happening again.
