I guess y'all forgot about Ricky Nelson of Ozzie & Harriet fame.

(uh oh, I'm showing my age!!)

I really never cared for Joaquin Phoenix.

yeah, I know why. It's that metrosexual look initially, followed up by that harelip.

Oh wait! I forgot! You're too old to know anything about that metrosexual stuff, right? Or do you prance around with a scarf around your neck in July?

 :-)

Whoever said that Ricky Nelson was a celebrity?  :hammer: :hammer:

Wisdom is, indeed, the better part of valor ;)

I thought it was discretion.
This post is disruptive, hurtful, rude, insensitive, over-the-top, or otherwise inappropriate.

Only for a select few.

So playing a bar in Boston is considered success?......You could put a band together and play a bar in Boston! It's not that hard to do. :-)

Uh...Toast?

You said in your post that if Mr. Bacon Bits hadn't been a punk kid movie star all grown up now with rock n' roll guitars and all, he'd probably be playing a bar in ****ing Boston.

All I did was point out that he's playing that ****ing bar in Boston, even though he IS a punk kid movie star all grown up now with rock 'n roll guitars and all.

Here, lemme buy you a  :cheersmate: It's been a long day.

Bingo.
Being right doesn't necessarily equate to being correct.

Well, it does take 5 letters and numbers scattered out over a bunch of geezers sitting in a hall surrounded by cards and a marker.

And it usually equates to money.

That's correct enough for me!

Right! he's not a succssful musician! It seems to be a hobby which is fine! My original point was actors who try to make a career out of music retiring from what they do well to pursue it...they never have the same amount of success. Kevin Bacon has not retired from acting to pursue music as far as I know! :cheersmate:

No, he's not retired but he doesn't do as much acting as he used to.

Of course, he doesn't look like the punk kid anymore. Sorta. So maybe the "Animal House"-type scripts ain't rollin' in the way they used to.

The guy needs to comb his hair. Startin' to look like some spiked-hair dweeb.
