ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. —  Authorities say a woman was injured after she jumped from a moving car in St. Petersburg.

Police report that two sisters, who might have been intoxicated, were arguing in the car on Thursday when the driver told the passenger to get out. Instead of waiting for the car to stop, authorities say the passenger jumped out of the car while it was still moving at about 20 mph. A passer-by saw the woman bleeding from the head and called paramedics.

The woman was hospitalized with a broken jaw. It wasn't clear if any charges would be filed.
