« on: October 20, 2008, 06:35:16 PM »

there ya go, john, ya big retard. :-)  didn't he screw up bigger than life just before the 06 mid terms, and freak
out all the dems?  they need to lock this drooling idiot in a closet for the entire month that precedes every election
from now on.

and he wears whatever underwear his wife tells him to wear. :-)

At a business summit on energy, Politickerma.com reports, a prominent supporter of Sen. Barack Obama, D-Mass., made a crack about Sen. John McCain's age.

"These are the exciting last two week moments of the presidential campaign," said Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., today in Cambridge, Mass. "So it's a very special time. I can't wait for it to be over. I am so tired of the press' silly questions that they ask along the way. And cable television which reduces everything to stupidity - the lowest common denominator of conflict."

"I don't know if any of you know what it's like. I do, obviously," Kerry told the crowd. "I've been asked all of those brilliant questions that were repeated this year...Barack got asked the famous boxers or briefs question. I was tempted to say commando...

"Then they asked McCain and McCain said, ‘Depends,'" Kerry said.

Kerry’s answer to the ‘boxers or briefs’ question: He goes commando and McCain would say ‘Depends’

CAMBRIDGE - U.S. Sen. John Kerry, the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee, had some choice words for the political press corps and, in particular, cable news Monday.

Kerry, addressing a business summit on energy issues, kicked off his remarks with some light-hearted banter.

"These are the exciting last two week moments of the presidential campaign," the Boston Democrat said. "So it's a very special time. I can't wait for it to be over. I am so tired of the press' silly questions that they ask along the way. And cable television which reduces everything to stupidity - the lowest common denominator of conflict."

It's an old joke.  I guess that's the best  :censored: $kerry can do now.

Even if it was true. At least McCain has a damn good reason for it. Skerry on the other hand has only his word and that's about it for all we know as to how he got his wounds.

john kerry must have circuit that shorts out two weeks before every election.  in 2006, it was the "study hard, or you wind up in iraq" remark.  with him and biden both on the campaign trail, we should have truckload of embarrassing gaffes by election day.

I'm not sure if I hate Kerry more than Obama....when will the democratic party realize putting the most liberal senators out there will only secure a loss for them?  Hopefully never. :evillaugh:

Kerry defends ‘Depends’ crack

Sen. John F. Kerry defended his controversial joke suggesting the GOP’s John McCain wears “Depends” adult diapers, saying today it’s the type of ribald humor you hear at the South Boston St. Patrick’s Day roast or on late-night TV.

Kerry, appearing before the Boston Herald editorial board, bristled at the suggestion his jab was not senatorial.

He even started to repeat another joke lobbed at McCain on “Leno or Letterman,” but he stopped and asked that a video camera be turned off.

The camera was not shut off, so Kerry told the Herald today people can go “look it up” for themselves.

Kerry said the “Depends” line has long been political fodder. When first posed the question, the Bay State’s junior senator said: “Ah, actually, Bob Dole used to joke about it himself.
