A brag that I'm too excited about to not share...

Nutcracker season is gearing up.  My daughter wanted one particular role (Arabian) really badly, and she got it!  But that's not all....she found out last night that she gets to be the nutcracker! 

There are no boys in the company, so it falls to one of the girls to do the nutcracker for Act I, and they bring in a guest artist for the nutcracker Prince parts in later acts.  It is such a fun role...she gets to "sword fight" the Mouse King.  The director told her she gave her the part  "because she wanted to give it to someone who really wanted it".

So, she had 4 parts this year!  Nutcracker, Snow, Arabian and Flowers (plus they are all in coda at the end)...she's going to be one busy girl, but she's in heaven!

That's awesome, Flame!  :cheersmate: I love her enthusiasm(and your boy's) about their respective activities. You done good, mama! Those are great kiddos you got there!
