ACORN registers 7-year-olds
« on: October 13, 2008, 09:57:43 AM »
http://www.nypost.com/seven/10122008/news/politics/7_yr__old_gets_an_acorn_vote_133207.htm

Quote
O'jahnae Smith is ready and registered to vote this November.

There's only one problem: She's 7 years old.

The Connecticut girl is 11 years too young - and nobody in her family knows how she ended up on a voter registration form submitted by ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.

"She's registered to vote?" said a surprised Jerome Smith, O'jahnae's teenage brother. "She's too young to vote."

But that didn't stop someone from forging the child's signature on a voter registration card and giving her a fake birth date that upped her age to 27. The family told The Post a drug-addicted relative may have given the bogus card to ACORN.

This is affecting a FEDERAL ELECTION!  Why are the feds sitting on their hands?  SHUT DOWN ACORN NOW!!!

at least it wasn't a dead 7 year old housecat with a felony record and was registered 47 times in 30 different precincts.  see?  ACORN does have some scruples.

Yeah, they keep 'em in the back closet, next to the rat poison.

Don't ask 'em who's scruples they were originally, though.  They were in there when they rented the office space.

Since this is about ACORN I figured I'd ask here. On Fox News this weekend (Sunday I believe) they had a woman on that is supposed to be high up the food chain in ACORN. The interviewer basically asked if ACORN was endorsing Obama. The woman said that they were. Then he asked about ACORN being non-partisan and she assured him that they were. Since then I've been trying to figure out how to both endorse a candidate and be non-partisan. Am I missing the meanings of "endorsing" and "non-partisan"? Does endorsing while being non-partisan require some sort of split personality?

By the way, she also assured him that ACORN would not have anything to do with voter fraud. He then read off copies of ten different registration forms for the same person. She then assured him that it wasn't ACORN's fault. It was the fault of the election boards.

Every ACORN registration should be thrown out on principle abd the people who hired them (Obama 08) docked 500,000 votes.

But hey, at least we now know what "community organizers" do....
My fellow Americans, there is nothing audacious about hope. Hope is what makes people buy lottery tickets instead of paying the bills. Hope is for the old gals feeding the slots in Atlantic City. It destroys the inner-city kid who quits school because he hopes he'll be a world-famous recording artist.

What's the difference between Sarah Palin and Barack Obama?

One is a well turned-out, good-looking, and let's be honest, pretty sexy piece of eye-candy.

The other kills her own food.

I can understand them using the term "community organizer". It's much easier to fit in a resume than "scam artist who attempts to steal elections for socialist candidates who will take money from people who work for a living and give it to those too lazy to work".
