At work yesterday I was asked at least a dozen times if i would be watching the VP debate last nite. I have NEVER seen that sort of interest in ANY debate from my co-workers.
I thought it was better than any other debate I have seen so far. Gwen Ifill was even on her best behavior due to the firestorm the last couple days over the hand job she is giving Obama in her soon to be released book. And considering that this was Palins first ever national debate and Biden has been doing this for 30 years I think it is safe to say she turned in a stunning performance. Neither side scored any nuke level shots but neither side stepped on their proverbial dicks either. And thats an especially tough challenge for Biden.
Palin hit him with a couple of one liners that I knew made a million other viewers laugh as much as I was laughing. Her 'There you go again' line was perfect! And of course I realize this was all rehearsed but some people never do manage to put 2 words together coherently *COUGH*Bush*COUGH* no matter how hard they prep.
