Pro-Obama MURAL to "beautify" downtown Pittsburgh?

Fidel Castro did similar tactics as he rose to power:
Quote
HILL DISTRICT (KDKA) ― An inspirational mural was unveiled today in the Hill District.

The Hope Mural, located at the corner of Wylie Avenue and Kirkpatrick Street, is of Sen. Barack Obama and reads: "We are the change we seek."

Gloria Rueben, an actress on "ER," was on hand for the event.

The project is aimed at beautifying the neighborhood and promoting team building.

Artist Ray Gerard designed it and members of the community donated the supplies.

Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack, a Pittsburgh native, helped kick off the project last week.

Creepy IMO, the seals, the coins, all of it. And the MSM here calls this graffiti "inspirational"? They would be singing a different tune if McCain or Bush had put his mug on a public building.

If one ****ing dime of taxpayer money went into this, or if it is on any public property, then it should be painted over or an equal sized McCain mural painted.

And I refuse to click the link and even look at that self-important asshole messi-uh.

If you want to worship an orange pile of garbage with a reckless disregard for everything, get on down to Arbys & try our loaded curly fries.

They would desecrate it.

It is The Hill District.  Think of the crappiest area in any big city.  I wouldn't be surprised if they painted it on the side of a crack house. :whatever:
All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.
