Cheerleaders Ditch Skimpy Uniforms After Complaints From Fans

BOISE, Idaho —  Less than a month into the football season, the Idaho Vandals are undergoing another makeover after spectators complained that cheerleaders' uniforms were flashing a little more than school spirit.

After the football team dumped the school logo from the buttocks of their new pants, the university in Moscow got complaints that new two-piece cheerleader uniforms were too skimpy.

*snip*

The new uniform is black and silver with a less revealing halter-style top and a skirt about six inches longer than the ones that cheerleaders debuted earlier this season, said Shelly Robson, an adviser to the spirit squad and a fundraiser for the athletics department.

Ok, who was complaining?   :hammer:

Those outfits are kinda skimpy but more than that they are ugly as sin.  They look like poorly made rubber bondage gear or something.  It also makes their boobs look like they hang to their waists.  Just my opinion.  Our high school cheerleaders wear pretty skimpy outfits too but at least they look really good.

I don't think they are that revealing but then the girls are just standing there so it's kinda hard to tell about the bottoms (darn it).  Mamacags is right about the suits being just plain butt-ugly, though.

Come to think of it, unions do create jobs. Companies have to hire two workers to do the work of one.

It ain't the outfits.

It's the sea hags wearing the outfits.

Damn. Just damn.

I'm not a big fan of cheerleaders, but I thought the football pants logo was a pretty funny story.   What were they thinking?     :lmao:

...reminds me of that story a while back about the young lady being kicked out of a shopping mall because a bunch of old biddy's husbands were staring at her short skirt, etc.

we're having that exact argument (including the mall chick) right this minute in the t-shirt thread.  my reply here was a semi-snarky comment about that whole thing directed at the worthy adversaries (who, of course, are insane ). :-)

Wait a second...someone complained about CHEERLEADER uniforms being too skimpy?! Theyre SUPPOSED to be uber skimpy. I never did like football in HS but went anyway just to stare at the cheerleaders butts.  :naughty:

But I have to agree that the women they showed in the story were not what I would consider acceptable cheerleader quality in the looks department.

But then I am spoiled by all the gorgeous babes here at CC.
