The father of 22-year-old Logan Federico, who was murdered in May, testified Tuesday before a House Judiciary subcommittee about victims of violent crime, delivering emotional remarks that condemned lenient sentencing practices and what he called a “pathetic” response from lawmakers.Logan Federico was killed by 30-year-old Alexander Devante Dickey, a man with an extensive criminal record, authorities have said.Dickey had nearly 40 prior arrests at the time of the shooting, which police described as a “random” act of violence.
