Newsom opened his mouth wide and stuck his foot in up to the knee with this response, IMHO.  One, yeah, Trump was president, and being fought tooth and nail by Democrats and many Republicans on everything he was trying to accomplish, particularly securing the boarder.  Two, posting that California law was broken since the illegal was given a CDL in Cali is quite a self own. 

Everything about our illegal immigration situation reeks of a disgusting lack of common sense and partisan politics (much coming from gutless republicans).  This is just the latest tragedy caused by decades of stupidity and playing politics with people's lives.
