I finally decided to actually visit that thread. Wow.

2. "...the military...can remove any executive, including the President, who would violate the Constitution."
Exactly what law says that the military can remove a president who violates the Constitution?
A fair question deserves a ridiculous answer...

5. Read the article?
Here let me snip it for you:
The applicable authority is in Army Regulation 600-20, which addresses command function, and the command that focuses on causes for removal. Sufficient cause should be evident,
No, honey. Congress did not write regulations that allow the military to remove its commander in chief according to its own determinations.

6. The Commander in Chief is not a member of the military and is not bound by military law.
Besides, Regulation 600-20, 2-18 "Relief for cause" concerns superior officers removing a subordinate. Trump, as CIC, is not subordinate to anyone in the chain of command.
Fair. So...

12. Under Martial Law there is no Civilian commander
This playbook is written by a Military scholar and is a former Marine officer.
"Under Martial Law there is no Civilian commander"? In what universe. When does Trump suddenly become an officer?
The author is a raving looney. A couple of battalion commanders resign in California and that's all that's needed for the Provost Marshall in DC to affect the arrest of the president. They just drive up to the White House and it's done.

7. I have said before
This is why blue states need to replace all national gaurd commanders who would obey trump, now.
Here's something you may not know: Governors are free to appoint their own officers, but unless they are federally recognized, they are not considered real officers. The federal government also pays for the overwhelming majority Guard expenses, especially equipment and salaries. It's all meant to streamline matters when NG troops are federalized, but it became ironclad since we spent 2 decades federalizing NG troops for the GWOT.
I don't like the federal dependency because I'm a small-R republican, but this is the contemporary operating environment and anything that fails to plan accordingly fails.

30. No - just call up the guards first
This excellent article, although slightly optimistic, because it was written prior to inauguration) holds that governors should call up their guards before Trump does, because then he can't.

And pay them, how? What about the fact these Soldiers have jobs, business, and college classes? Don't forget the full-time Title 10 missions. Those are "pre-federalized."

15. You are way off base bud.
The author is a known military scholar and former marine.
I also served my country in the Army. I’ll take the author’s authority on this matter over some dude on the Internet.
I retired from the Army. The author is a loon.
There's another point I wanted to make, but this guy brings it up:

24. Our military isn't big enough to manage our population
If Trump declared martial law--and I don't think he will--I think it would cause a national revolt. I also think congress would impeach and convict him in the face of such a national revolt.
And yet, we're told by the left that the 2nd Amendment is obsolete.
