If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.

From....2015

From.... CNN in 2020

Quote
The US was once the uncontested world leader in science and engineering. That’s changed, according to a federal report

The US global share of research and development has declined to 25%, according to the report. Asian countries are increasing their global share by focusing on rapid growth efforts in comparison to modest efforts by the US. China has contributed nearly a third of the total growth in global research and development since 2000. The report projects that China will be the likely leader in that area.

“In 2017, the economies of East-Southeast and South Asia collectively accounted for 42% of global R&D [research and development] expenditures, higher than the United States (25%) and the EU (20%),” according to the report.

But suddenly.... ORANGEMANBAD!!!!111!!!!!

Romans 6:17-18 But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed, and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness.

Decades of denigrating people working in the sciences as nerds and social misfits has born and is bearing predictable fruit.

Contrary to the H-1B visa myth, Starchucks and Peets and Dutch Bros aren't employing as baristas hordes of engineers and etc. displaced by H-1B visa engineers and etc.. Those H-1B visa engineers and etc. are largely "taking the places" of American choosing not to go into STEM careers.

Looks like someone's pointless and wasteful "research" grant was pulled back and now he has to fire his assistants.

Why do I get the feeling this is another one of these "I'm a conservative, but here's a bunch of left-wing talking points" nonsense stories? Is it because there are no specifics about how Trump is destroying STEM fields? Or the fact that the left isn't good at much other than information warfare?

I'm on X. I saw that post and many are calling him out on it.
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

:bouncy:-fiction - like GoogTube Karen stories and fiction - tend to fall into obviously copy-catted patterns. Rando-strangers lash out in political talking-points-scripted anger or expressions of regret at Walmart or Piggly Wiggly or Target or a gas station or a fast food store (not CfA, because Progs hates CfA, Precious, they hates them  ) - conversations in public places that would never happen in real life.
