Need accurate information about leftist screeching

Seeing much noise about Elon having "his own people" into federal payment systems, claiming he is not only going to start cutting off various payments, but also that he is personally siphoning off everyone's SS numbers and other personal information for his own nefarious purposes. 

The bots (literal and figurative) are making it difficult to find out what exactly they are griping about.  Does anyone know what is up, if it is anything close to the propaganda being spread?
